हरिद्रा-गणपति, Haridrā-gaṇapati, literally “turmeric Ganesha”) is an aspect of the Hindu god Ganesha (Ganapati). Haridra Ganapati is depicted as yellow like turmeric and wears yellow, garments.According to “Mudgala Purana”, an ancient text on Lord Ganesha, thirty two forms of Ganesha are believed to occur. Haridra Ganesha is one of them. The word Haridra means “Turmeric”. Haridra Ganpati is made out of “Turmeric roots” and considered very lucky and auspicious.
Shri Haridra Ganapati Mandir's prana-pratishtha has been done on 25th November 2014 on Magshar Sud Choth. Ever since the day the temple was established.To manage the temple as per the above rule of Shri Narshibhai Bagadia, the founder of the temple and also to provide educational help to the needy people, to organize medical camps and to manage Shri Haridra Ganapati Annakshetra on a regular basis.
